Kids Stories
Making stories for children is a great activity in story and dialogue writing, artistic design, and fun editing. Producing videos for a younger audience is so rewarding. Give it a try!

Consider the following plot-lines or genres:
  • Book read aloud
  • School rules
  • Simple animation
  • Interviewing children
  • PSA for a younger audience

The best choice is to write a story and illustrate a children's book, then film the pages turning and read it aloud. Mandatory requirements for the book:
  • Your target audience is elementary children and younger
  • Include a moral to the story, or a conflict with resolution
  • Villains lose, good guys win
  • No violence
  • Magic / make-believe is okay as long as it is logical
  • Use your imagination. Kids have an even bigger imagination than us. Stretch the boundaries of your mind, be a kid again when you write this.
  • Strong plot that is easy to follow
  • Use a lot of art
  • Draw characters consistently on each page
  • Minimal text, perfect English and grammar in all text
  • Creative title on front page of book, along with author name
  • Beginning, middle, end, and closure
  • Hook the readers in the beginning
  • Bind your book
